Alex Kantor entered the outsourced marketing and sales business in 2011 after spending six years in the collegiate and professional sports industry. After playing both soccer and alpine ski racing at Skidmore College, Alex spent five years working in athletic administration at Amherst College as a media relations director. During that time, he earned an M.S. in Sport Management from the top-ranked University of Massachusetts-Amherst’s Isenberg School of Management.
After relocating to Boston in 2011, Alex spent time working in communications for Kraft Sports Group and their teams, the New England Patriots (NFL) and New England Revolution (MLS). In late 2011, Alex accepted the account manager position to gain sales experience and have a faster growth path into a senior management opportunity.
In 2013, Alex opened his first office in the Boston area, and expanded to Charlotte in the end of 2015. Alex lives in Matthews, N.C. with his wife - Eva.
Pat Marlin joined our team here at Charlotte Marketing Consultants in September 2017, five years after his last stint working with our client in this North Carolina. A native of Denver, Colorado, Pat grew up in the small mountain town of Idaho Springs. After graduating from Fort Lewis College with a Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Pat worked in the restaurant industry as a server, bartender and ultimately a manager, before getting experience in both the ski and golf industries.
After taking an Account Manager role working with our client in 2011 in Denver, Pat crisscrossed the country helping open offices in both Providence, R.I. and Charlotte in 2012, before returning to Denver in 2013. It was in the Mile High City that Pat moved into a management position in 2016. His time working with small- to medium-sized business customers for our client has come full circle, bringing him back to the Queen City and our team today.
In his free time, Pat is an avid sports fan, and loves to attend professional events of any sport. He also is a huge fan of live music, and loves to travel, ski, golf and fish when he isn't growing his team.
Jessi McCranie started working with our company in the summer of 2016, first as an Account Manager within our sales and marketing team working with our small business client. After earning a promotion to Corporate Trainer, Jessi transitioned into her current role as our HR Manager and head recruiter to help fill our demand for growth. Jessi is from nearby Waxhaw, North Carolina and studied Business Administration at East Carolina University, before graduating from UNC-Charlotte in 2016.
Prior to her work with Charlotte Marketing Consultants, Jessi worked in both hospitality and retail sales. Her positive energy, enthusiasm and attention to detail has made her a rising star in our organization.
Human Resources Assistant
Mariana Bracciale joined the started working with Charlotte Marketing Consultants this fall as our HR Assistant/Recruiter. Mariana is originally from Newton, MA and in 2016 received her B.A in Theatre Arts with a Concentration in Acting from Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island.
Before working here she worked as an actress at the Children's Theatre of Charlotte, was a Preschool Teacher for a number of years, and held the position of Box Office Manager for her last two years of school. She lives nearby in Gastonia and is still very active in the Queen City's performing arts community.
