Alex Kantor


Alex Kantor entered the outsourced marketing and sales business in 2011 after spending six years in the collegiate and professional sports industry. After playing both soccer and alpine ski racing at Skidmore College, Alex spent five years working in athletic administration at Amherst College as a media relations director. During that time, he earned an M.S. in Sport Management from the top-ranked University of Massachusetts-Amherst’s Isenberg School of Management.

After relocating to Boston in 2011, Alex spent time working in communications for Kraft Sports Group and their teams, the New England Patriots (NFL) and New England Revolution (MLS). In late 2011, Alex accepted the account manager position to gain sales experience and have a faster growth path into a senior management opportunity.

In 2013, Alex opened his first office in the Boston area, and expanded to Charlotte in the end of 2015. Alex lives in Matthews, N.C. with his wife - Eva.

Pat Marlin


Pat Marlin joined our team here at Charlotte Marketing Consultants in September 2017, five years after his last stint working with our client in this North Carolina. A native of Denver, Colorado, Pat grew up in the small mountain town of Idaho Springs. After graduating from Fort Lewis College with a Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Pat worked in the restaurant industry as a server, bartender and ultimately a manager, before getting experience in both the ski and golf industries.

After taking an Account Manager role working with our client in 2011 in Denver, Pat crisscrossed the country helping open offices in both Providence, R.I. and Charlotte in 2012, before returning to Denver in 2013. It was in the Mile High City that Pat moved into a management position in 2016. His time working with small- to medium-sized business customers for our client has come full circle, bringing him back to the Queen City and our team today.

In his free time, Pat is an avid sports fan, and loves to attend professional events of any sport. He also is a huge fan of live music, and loves to travel, ski, golf and fish when he isn't growing his team.

Jen Royston

HR Administrator

Jen joined Charlotte Marketing Consultants as the Human Resources Administrator in 2018 to help push the company towards our expansion goals in the next year. A native of Jacksonville, North Carolina, Jen moved to Charlotte after growing up in a military family. Her father is a veteran of the Marines, and both her mother and sister were in the Navy. A strong background in systems combined with her outgoing personality was a natural fit for helping grow our business built around people.

Jen attended NC State where she studied Visual Arts & Art History. She has two younger sisters, two children, Bryce and Jaxson, and lives north of the city near Lake Norman. Jen enjoys being out on the lake for stand up paddle boarding and is an adventure seeker, counting skydiving as a hobby!
